This program is for seniors 60 and older who live in Knox county and are reasonably homebound. Our meals are dietician approved, well balanced, and low in sodium and sugar. However, we do not provide therapeutic meals. Hot meals are delivered Monday-Friday between 11-2. The cost is a suggested donation of $3 per meal. On-site meals are served in our dining room Monday - Friday at noon. Clients must sign up the day before by calling (740) 397-3841. The cost is a suggested donation of $3. Clients may bring guests that are not 60 years of age or a Knox County resident to eat in the dining room with them. The cost is $6 for a guest meal.
Clients may also participate in activities before or after lunch is served. For more information about the activities please review the activity schedule for days and times.

This program offers seniors the opportunity to engage with others while participating in various activities such as cooking, crafts, exercise and more. We also host educational classes, special presentations, and monthly parties to celebrate birthdays and holidays. You can find the activity calendar in our monthly newsletter. Most of our daily activities are free of charge.

This service provides clients with rides to medical appointments, weekly shopping, and to our facility to eat meals on-site. All requests are on a first come, first served basis. All rides must be scheduled in advance. The transportation cost is based on your destination and is calculated for the round-trip service. The suggested donation for your trip is posted in all the vehicles. You may call (740)397-3841 to schedule a ride or inquire about the donation cost for your trip. Please call at least 72 hours in advance if you need the out of town service.
*Transportation Service is only available to residents of Knox county that are 60 or over.
This service provides senior clients with information and resources available in Knox County. We can help you with things such as Senior Housing, Food Banks, Golden Buckeye Card, Heap, Transportation, and Assistance with completing applications.
